Abans Achievers Night 2023, was a memorable evening for the IT products marketing team of Abans. They proudly received the Best Customer Experience Initiative award in the Innovation Awards category for their Abans IT customer website amid loud applause at the ceremony on the 10th of November 2023, at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo. The Annual Abans Achievers Night was a lavish event to honor the outstanding performers and creative thinkers who contributed to the organization's enhancement and reinforced its mission to "keep empowering people with improved lifestyles. Particularly, the innovation awards category honors and promotes Abans' innovative culture by rewarding groups that develop novel approaches to situations that benefit people, the planet, and profit.
The Abans IT website showcases contemporary technology, designed to improve customer satisfaction and instill confidence in the internal marketing and assistant teams.
Enhancing the Abans customer experience, streamlining the customer support inquiry journey, promptly offering customized service solutions, decreasing customer complaints, raising brand equity and social media engagement for Abans IT products, building a strong service center network throughout the island, and supporting non-Abans customer support requests are all made possible by the platform.
With the assistance of Brand Managers Tilan Tennakoon, Asiri Nanayakkara, Mathura Arumanayagam, and Anupa Hettiarachchi, the IT products marketing team at Abans, led by Dr. Chathura Jayawardena, Chief Business Development Officer, originated this project to close the communication gap for both internal (showroom staff/corporate sales staff) and external (customers) stakeholders.
The corporate hardware and software solutions pages on the Abans IT portal provide information about the business operations of the corporate arm of the company, while the online store allows users to browse and purchase all IT products. Aside from that, the convenience with which clients may contact the Abans IT customer care team via phone, WhatsApp, or email to inquire about products is one of the portal's most significant aspects. Not only that, but consumers can now use the portal to directly file a service inquiry and find solutions to any IT product-related service difficulties. If the customer would rather not use a service provider, there are plenty of tech-help videos available on the portal for them to learn from.
To keep offering Abans customers the best possible experience, the Abans IT portal will be continually refined with new features.
