Mr. Rusi Pestonjee

Mr. Rusi Pestonjee is the Managing Director of Abans Group of Companies. Holding over 40 years of diverse experience as a Founder and heading many companies at

Abans Group, he has played a prominent role in driving the expansion of the Group since its early years. He has previously served as Director Finance of Abans plc from 2000 to 2016. Mr. Rusi Pestonjee is a businessman with experience in strategy, tax and financial planning – and an Alumnus of the International School of Business in India where he specialised in strategy and family business. He is responsible for developing number of Companies in Abans Group to market leaders and bringing various internationally reputed brands to market through representation or joint ventures and is the development licensee for McDonalds International Restaurants in Sri Lanka. He was also instrumental in the formation of Abans Environmental Services (Pvt) Ltd and furthering the concept of Environmental Sustainability Governance for the Abans Group. He also currently serves as the Chairman of Colombo City Centre (Pvt) Ltd. and Founder Director and past Chairman of Abans Finance PLC. He is also the Director of 12 companies outside of Abans Group that spans across logistics, food processing, agriculture, commodity trading/investments, realty, cash warehousing and security services, fintech, mobility and facilities management in Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka.

DR. Saroshi Dubash

Dr. Saroshi Dubash oversees the supply chain, administration, and human resources functions of Abans PLC. Dr. Dubash holds a PhD in Philosophy, an MBA (USA) and

an honours degree in chemistry (London). Furthermore, she was the Chairperson of the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce , a representative of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Board, a member of Womenin Logistics and Transport (WILAT), a committee member of the Australian New Zealand Business Committee and a committee member of the Canadian Business Committee. In addition, Dr. Dubash holds the Director positions at Abans Logistics (Pvt) Ltd., Abans Engineering (Pvt) Ltd., Cleantech (Pvt) Ltd., Abans Graphics (Pvt) Ltd., Crown City developers (Pvt) Ltd., and Colombo City Centre.
